I just bought a G-Tech Pro Competition (2001 Model) before the fall and now I see they came out with 2 brand new and improved models. Of course, they never mentioned anything about the new models when I ordered from them. WTF???

Quit whining. They are almost identical to the one you have. The cheaper SS version does not support downloads to PC. The RR version does, and has increased memory to store 2 hours worth of roadracing data. There is a firmware update on the Gtech site to upgrade your current one to V4.0, which gives you the same roadracing functionality as the RR. You may not be able to store 2 hours with it. You can also download v2.0 of PASS to analyze the results. The one you have is better than the SS version, which is priced at $200. The RR is $300. I think you got a bargain, and you can easily upgrade to RR capability with the firmware update.
