Are you talking about all lights in the cab? outside of the cab? both?

I had a very similiar problem on my 97, my headlights would flicker rapidly from high to low beam, then would shut off. Long story short, i took it to the dealer cause i had replced the bulb, steering column combination swith, fuses, and otehr stuff, but i had put in a bad headlight switch, and they replced it along with a wire the was burnt out, that repiar was $145, but no problems since then, and they work fine now, o, and for future reference, dont use xenon or hyper white bulbs, from my experience, they have cost me problems, (ex. they started the prebious issue) hope you resolve you problem

o, well, my advice doesnt help on that much. Fuse, shorted wire, bad headlight switch. I would check the head light switch, if it is the same as on my 97, there is a 2 wire connecter with a black wire, and another yellow wire hooked on to the headlight switch, kinda like a piggy back connection, those control the dome light power on or off. Check that connection; or the dimmer inside the the headlight switch may be bad. just hunt the problem every way you can, that your comfortable with doing, if all fails, then go to repair shop or dealer.

BTW, excuse my bad spelling in my previous post, and whatever may lie in this post......:-/

Had a similar problem when I left my truck parked near the beach in Daytona for three days during bike week. I have an '02 QC 4.7L. Interior lights flickering, chime warbling, radio volume changing with CD in, radio station changing with CD out, key fob wouldn't work, etc... I didn't have a problem with the headlight that I noticed. Since I was under warranty, the dealer replaced a control module and reprogrammed my fobs. If you need more info, I'll dig out the receipts. Hope this helps.
