 Subject: 1991 Dakota computer needed, 318 auto 4x

318 auto, 4x4. I installed a Jet performance chip when I got the truck 2 years ago (no noticeable difference). Last week when I went to start it the computer fried in a puff of smoke. Pins # 3 and 4 in the 60 pin connector were melted. The service manual lists them as battery power and "sensor return". Which sensor? Anybody have a computer? Part # 53008924. None available in local yards, they couldn't find one on a search. Anybody have any idea why this happened? No more Jet chips for me. Thanks in advance.

do google search for engine control module for the dakota. the above is a shop that carries them.
