isnt this wonderful. i get my brake pads changed because i was told the clicking noise when i brake is from the pads hitting the caliper. so i got them changed, went through TO MUCH crap over at tire kingdom but it was done. first thing i do is get in my truck and it starts to click again.

anyone have any idea what a clicking noise that u can feel in your pedal even when u stomp on the brake pretty hard, past 1/2 way mark, u can feel it begin to slip and clicks. what that can be?

Maybe your antilock pump is acting up... or an abs sensor. if the rear drum brakes are adjusted too tight, it may cause a problem with the RWAL (rear wheel anti-lock)

My 2001 QC does it too.
I'm bringing it to the dealer on my next oil change so they can have a look.
I should have done it 2 changes ago but forgot.
If alot of us are experiencing this it's probably "normal".
Even if it is disconcerting.
I did bleed my brakes at the last oil change but it didn't change the clicking .

ok so at least im not in this alone and from the looks of it i will be getting it fixed or figure out the problem first. ill be sure to let you know what it is and you guys do the same, email me if u have to.

on my way out and in, o ya hurricane barely missed new orleans if ya didnt notice woohoo!, but it didnt click as much and it seemed the more i used it less it did it, maybe they didnt fix my rotors or grind down whatever they usually do when they change pads. ill take it to another mechanic and see. one told me only the dealer can diagnose the ABS ligth which comes on as well as the brake light so i dont know. my truck is a 98 and isnt under warranty so no point in bringing it there, cost way to much.

keep my posted
