Hi, I have a '98 cc, rear wheel drive. Need new tires, just wondering what you guys liked. I was looking at Toyo Open Country A/T, any good?

I live in Toronto so snow traction would be a key factor.

Thanks

I've been plowing with B.F. Goodrich all terrain TA's for many years - very satisfied and wouldn't consider anything else.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

I have Michelin LTX M/S on my '01 4x4. I live in CO, so snow traction is important here, too. I got cought in a big storm last Jan in SW CO. Heavy snow, mountain passes, some ice. Tires just motored right on through it all. Saw lots of other 4x4's in the ditches, but we had no problems at all. Far better then the GY that were on there stock.

A very quiet tire, excellent dry and wet traction, smooth ride. Expected to last at least 60K miles; maybe as long as 80K??? The best light truck tires I've ever used.

Listen to bob, Brad.
I'm in Hamilton and can attest to the Michelin LTX M+S as a good tire.
for the real world (ie;95% on road driving). They're the best.
Good winter traction, good wet traction, good build quality,
no noticible highway drone like you get with most A.T. tires, good cornering stability in the sidewalls and my last set went over 90,000 km before I replaced them.
(and I replaced them early because I hate when people drive on bald crap in Ontario's winter).
