First, I have read ALL the post's, so please don't tell me this is old news and to do some checking. I have a '99 Dakota that I have started to install the upgraded overhead console on & because of all the great info I found here I'm almost there, One problem, all the posts here tell how many wire's to run (6 plus the 3 already there) but no one has said where to tap into the CCD + and CCD - ..... Anyone have a ideal?

Then you've probably ran across my posts on the o/h puter install. I've done it. I only added the o/h puter though, and not the universal remote thingy. Is that what you mean?

I only ran the three wires from the puter down my a pillar, etc.

Thanks for the info Todd, but, my '99 has 9 wires, the 3 wire hook-up would be nice but I don't have a 3 wire computer. I ran 6 wires to the console, 2 wires for the temp sensor, two wires for power and ground and two wires to the + & - CCD bus, their's my problem, where is a SAFE place to tap into the CCD bus??

OK,

On my 01, all the data is carried by one wire, an orange one which is the PCI bus input.

Good luck
