....have heard from a friend that rotating tires on a 4x4 should be done at 10 to 15 thousand mile intervals to avoid diff damage. Any one concur with this or is it just standard bull$#@*. I am interested in your opinions. Lemme know !

I do it every 5,000 miles. Got 60,000 miles now without any differential problems..

RF to RR, LF to LR

RR to LF, LR to RF

My factory tires had 39,000 miles on them with some usable tread still on them when I changed them. Tread depth was essntially the same for all four tires. The spare is factory original, never been on the ground.

Every 6,000 miles at the dealer, every other oil change so far 45,000 on stock. I'm going to replace them before winter, Oct/Nov around 50,000, with Bridgestone Revo's and throw a set of Rancho 5000's on at the same time.
