The other day i went to a full service gas station, the pump attendant filled up my truck and i was good to go, the truck drove okay home from the station, but the next morning when i went to start up my truck, i got that stupid check engine dash light, after that i went online to this site and tried to find out what the problems could be, i found that the gas cap was on too lose, after checking out all the other postes, i also found a way to get rid of the engine light by disconnecting the battery, now the engine light is gone and the cap is tight, but from what i have done will there be an reprocussions from this whole ordeal, like crappy gas mileage or runability problems?
