 Subject: Tow questions

I'm having trouble finding out if the 04 Dakotas had any changes made that would keep a reciever hitch made for a 03 from fitting. Also, is there a plug in adapter (four flat) that does not require splicing, looking for the plug in type.
I have an 04 RC 3.7 with 3.55.

There are no significant changes between '03 and '04. Can't see any reason for the hitch not to fit.
Plug in adapters are available all over. I purchased my truck with a trailer tow package. It came with a small bag of parts, including a round 7 to flat 4 adapter. Try U-haul or any RV shop, you should be able to find exactly what you need sitting on the shelf.
