Hmmm...interesting if true....maybe this will cause/force Dodge(and the rest of the indusrty) to increase the Fuel efficiency of its trucks.

I've heard it is very possible. I think it was in the last issue of truck trend. You can probably find pictures on the website. They are basing it off of they're larger SUV. It is really woosy though as far as trucks go from what I've read. I don't think its made to do much besides haul a few plants or a ski boat.

I've heard about it. It's supposed to be based on the Pilot with engine help from GM (they've got an I4, I5, I6, why not an I7?). I don't know if it's a positive for production but I know they were talking about and driving a concept on one of those TNN/SpikeTV car shows.

Full size trucks actually make the companies that produce them money, whereas small trucks struggle to break even economically, so a full size would be more expected than a compact, I would imagine.

I find 23.6mpg hard to believe unless under extremely special conditions, too.

I regularly get 23+ mpg with my 4.7L 5 speed CC, with the cruise set on about 83 mph. So if he keeps his QC 4.7L on 65 mph cruise with a load of firewood I could see him getting 23.6 mpg. My city mpg is 17 to 18 mpg.

Well shoot!!! I'm lucky to get 15mpg out of my 4x4 AT QC. I do mostly highway driving and still get crappy gas mileage. It's about 15 miles to work one-way and I eat up 1/8 tank of gas every time I go to work and back.

Pretty truck though...hehe!!!

2001 QC: I have a 2004 QC 5spdAuto AWD4X4 4.7L 3.92axle. My best has been 15 mpg right after I bought it...average about 14.5mpg.

I just put on a tonneau (soft) hoping my mileage would go up. Funny, since I put it on 2 tanks ago I got 14.0mpg and 13.8mpg. The worst mileage I've ever had...and my driving is the same (mostly highway). I can't believe the tonneau is making it worse, but after this tank, I may try rolling it up and see what happens.
