Alright gus if any one knows the answer to this tell me.

Is there a difference between the 1997-1999 Dakota FIPK for the 5.9L engine and the 2000-2003 Dakota FIPK for the same engine? Do they fit the same or what? The pictures dont match but they are the same engine compartment. So wouldnt they fit the same. Would i have to modify the 1999 tto fit in the 2001 or will it not fit entirely?

I got a 1999 Dakota 5.9l K&N FIPK but i have a 2001 5.9l

the difference is the location of the cruise control actuator. I believe the mounting of the newer model FIPK differs from the older.
