I have a 1998 dakota 318 i'am having trouble with the timing(when you first start it it runs great but as soon as it warms up it wont hardly run. The computer said that the crank senor and the cam is out 30 degrees. How do you go about getting it back in time thanks greg

If you havn't touched anything, start by replacing the crank sensor (because it's easy), and then the cam sensor (a pain). If the cam was really out by 30*, I don't think it would run at all.

DO NOT touch the distributor. It does not control ignition timing, it controls fuel injector timing. If you start turning it, the engine won't run worth a darn, if at all.
