 Subject: elec. short w/ radio

To be brief...the radio shuts off when the turn signals are used or brakes are applied. Sometimes the radio comes back on and other times it stays off for good.
Any ideas on where to start looking for this short in the elec. system?
It all ties into the brakes, lights and turn signals.

OK, I forgot
'94 Dodge Dakota
3.9 L Automatic
4 Wheel Drive
Ext. Cab
Also, The obvious would be to follow the wiring, look at the headlight switch, brakelight switch and turn signal mechanism in steering column.
But I was looking first here to have any advise, maybe from it happening to others on this board.
