offer a lifetime warranty against cracking peeling and nicks and scratches. I also do a free top coat to retard fading. if it fades ill retop coat it. if you mess it up ill respray it. I much rather do it slower and have quality work than to make a lot of $$ and do a crappy job but thats jsut me. .

So where are you located, I'm sold !!!!

I got a spray-in almost 10 years ago from a place called Bullhide out in Spokane. It's going to outlast my truck! Plus, there's been NO visible fade or discoloration. (And I'd be able to tell; I got the over-rail installation, then later added a cap, and for 9 of the 10 years, most of the liner's been under the cap, with just the rail lap-over exposed to the sun--and NO fade at all!) I'd like to find an outlet in the Milwaukee area, and I'd bullhide the Dakota I just bought in a second--but all I've been able to find is Line-X and Rhino. Based on the recommendation of the Bullhide dealer, if I can't find Bullhide out here pretty quick, I'll probably go with Rhino. Like many of you, I swear by the spray-ins; positively worth what you pay!

To whome it may concern:

I had my truck sprayed by Vortex Sprayliners and I was amazed on th equality and performance that I get out of liner. It worn chip, peal and it's probelly the best looking liner I have ever seen. The system that they have is great and I liked it so much I even had my garage floor sprayed at my home. The system was totally portable and there was no mess to clean up. I totally recommened the Vortex Sprayliner system and if anyone is interested in Vortex just go to there web site at www.vortexsprayliner.com and contact them for your local dealer. Rhino and Line-X which I have seen dont even come close.

Get a Rhino Liner. I love mine, I would gladly do it again on any truck that I buy, and being an employee of a Car Auction, Rhino liners are a strong selling point for a used truck. Lifetime warranty against all wear and tear, can't be beat. I've beat the snot out of my truck bed with bricks to beer cans to shovels and rakes. Nothing made a dent or a scratch. Easy to wash and the non-slip surface keeps the groceries near the tailgate.

Buy it, love it, keep it for life.

Is it now so that you can order your truck with a spray on bedliner? I know that Nissan offers that option with the Titan?

You must of been sleeping on the job or somthing. The Rhino material is soft, it discolors and it cant be repaired very easely. This does not sound like something I would want to recomend in my truck. I have recommended Vortex to everyone I know from Fire Cheefs who have had there Fire Trucks tool boxes done by Vortex to Race Car Driver who have things done as well. The Vortex Product far superior to anything I have ran across and they do more than trucks. The only thing I ask is for everyone to do there home work and see the diference in all the companies doing sprayliners and make the right choice. I tried and Vortex has answered all your concerns and them more.

Well, I went ahead and got Rhino. Don't know if I can get Vortex out here--but Rhino is very similar to the Bullhide that I had in Spokane--and it looks like it will outlast the truck (which I gave to my son this summer). Soft--yes, that's part of what makes it nonskid. Discolors? Not in my experience. The part that was exposed to full weather is still the same color as the part that's been inside the cap since July 94. Can't be repaired easily? Can't say from experience, since I've never managed to damage one. But since the warranty is lifetime, ease/difficulty of repair is their problem, not mine. Bottom line: I suspect all the spray-ins--at least those that are offering and honoring lifetime warranties--are probably pretty equivalent in quality, and personal preferences are pretty much just that--personal preferences. If you have multiple brands available to you in your area, shop around. If there's only one--Vortex, Rhino, Line-X, Bullhide--as long as it's lifetime warranty, get it. I still say it's worth the money.

Not to be a snob or anything, but my truck bed probably endures more wear and tear than most of yours will ever think about seeing. I haul crap constantly, from used oil, to dirt, to steel boxes and aliminum. The color hasnt faded and the material is soft, but very durable. Not one dent or scratch in it. If your rhino has problems, maybe it wasnt put in properly.

To all of you out there who are getting spray in bed liners. Good job. I work for a company called Rocky Moutain Bullhide. To prep our trucks we use 36 grit sand paper, that's right 36. We sand the entire bed including the rails if the customer has requested that option. Then the truck gets vacuumed out. After that it is sprayed with a cleaning solvent. It is then power blown dry and is ready for spraying. The reason Bullhide is better than Rhino is because it has a higher plastic density. Or if you take a sample of Line-x and a sample of Bullhide and put them in the freezer over night and then take them out and bend them, you will find that the Line-x will SNAP where as the Bullhide will remain pliable. Make sure to ask your local dealers about their products statistics and you will find that Bullhide is superior to any other product. But that's just the facts. You can get a hold of us at

Rocky Mountain Bullhide
Fort Collins, Colorado.

Remember have a great day.
