im just wondering if i have lsd, my vin is
1B7GG23Y5Rs645607
ive looked in teh glove box, couldnt find a sticker, cant find it on the window sticker, floored it on a dry straight asphalt road and left two marks but i guess that isnt a real test. i also dont have a jack or stands. and im too busy to take it to the dealer. so if anyone knows if i have lsd form the vin number please tell me. tia

No, we dont know! Just jack your truck up, and check for yourself. Get both back wheels off the ground and spin one of them by hand, if the other goes the same way, it is lsd if it goes the opposite way, well...sorry about your bad luck. Next time do a search, I've probably told 600 people how to do this.

methinks you must be lazy...
1.) Your truck comes with a scissor jack for those times when you have a flat on the road. While those jacks aren't exactly the greatest, it should suffice for lifting the back wheels off the ground.
2.) I'm sure you know SOMEBODY around you has got a floor jack they'd let you borrow. It's not that difficult.

Here is a good way to determine if you have an LSD, Anti-
Spin, etc.
Park your truck on some glass smooth concrete and pour some
dish soap in front of one of the rear wheels.
Then move the truck forward and get the one tire in the soap
and then try to spin the wheels.
You will quickly find out if you have LSD and if you do have a
limited slip, you will see just how well its working.
Be careful doing this.

you dont even need to do the soap trick.... (do this on a isolated back road) just find a road with a soft shoulder, put one tire off the side of the road. make sure your other tire is on the pavemant, and MASH IT!! if you leave rubber, its pretty likely you have a limited slip rear.... (make sure you pull off to the right) just dont stay on the gas long, as you might get spun around a little too much :-P
