I have spent alot of time on this site and have learned alot and enjoyed my time. I'm logging off I have traded our Dakota for the Chevy Trailblazer with the new 275 HP, 275 FT/LB torque. Inline 6 CYL.
I was never real happy with our Dakota mileage was so-so it seemed to need alot of work. 75,000 miles front end was about done on a 4x4, alot of body roll that Pro Comp ES9000s couldn't help, the list just goes on. The final straw came a few months back I was at a stop light in Las Vegas, Hwy 160 & Rainbow for those who are in Sin City. and next to me was one of those Santa Fe SUV and to my utter surprise he stayed with me up to 80 MPH. I had a 02 Dakota 4x4, 4.7, Turbo exh., 45RFE auto. this just sucked. Well, if nothing else our Trailblazer 4x4 is getting 21 MPG off the showroom floor and that is much better than 15-16MPG of the Dakota and at $2.30/Gal it's much easier to enjoy.
Again, Thanks to all it will be hard to find a Chevy Trailblazer Forum as good as this on

Well I'm happy that you are happy. That is what makes this a great country. Just don't call me when you need to load a couch and take it to your Mom's house. J/K

When I bought my Dakota I didn't give a rat's azz about fuel milage (and I still don't) if that was important I woulda' bought a KIA. I wanted a Nice looking truck that would run like a raped ape, and could still load plywood up to the top of the bedrails and was easy to park in a crowded parking lot.

But anyway enjoy your SUV.

Later,
