Hi,
The past 2 weeks my air conditioner has been tossing out chunks of filter through the vents. Does the air conditioner have any type of filter, where would this be coming from?
The filter is black and is identical to the kind you would have on the front of your computer.

The A/C has no filter to speak of. If it did, it would be on the air inlet side of the coil and would never make it through. What year is your truck?? Sounds to me like an older one and age has gotten the best of the foam that is used to seal the duct sections together. Once the foam starts breaking down it will be blown out the vents in little chunks. Is this what you're seeing?
