Ok, I've had the code P0455 stuck in my computer for a while now. I already tried replacing the gas cap. Nothing, code still there, or more specifically, it came back almost immediately after I replaced the gas cap and reset the computer. I posted on this board a while back, and someone suggested checking the hoses going into the evaporative canister. All I found was a recatangular box, about 4" X 6" X 8", right in front of the gas tank, with 3 hoses going into it. I looked the hoses, and they all seem to have a good seal and no cracks. Any suggestions as to where to go from here? It's a 2001 4X4 4.7L Quad Cab. Thanks.

Also check your hoses going to the evap canisters that are mounted by your fuse block and battery. If one of those popped off or cracked you will get that code also.
