First off I drive a 2000 cc 5.9 90% stock.I just changed my oil with synthetic blend and a puralator pure one oil filter and for some reason the presure is climbing up past 40 to about 60 or so. Will this hurt my engine and if so what do I do to fix it?

My truck runs about that range while driving. At idle it's much lower.

It is just different because today while driving home which is 45 miles at about 70+ mph the presure was at 30 pretty much the whole way.

typically, higher pressure is better, UNLESS it's plugged up just before the sensor. you may want to tryout Royal Purple oil. it works better than most other synthetics, but is kinda hard to find. get on their website to find a dealer.
synthetics typically will hold a higher pressure than fossil oils.

On my drive into work this morning the pressure was at 60 the whole way. I hope I did not do something to my engine. I have checked the oil level hot and cold and it is perfect just below the line.
