 Subject: Tranny pan fluid pickup

Where is the fluid pickup located on a 46RH tranny? I dropped the pan to do an oil and filter change and did not see a pickup tube. Is my tranny missing something important here? The previous owner said he had to do a tranny rebuild. Could this have been left off during the rebuild?
