The Superchips Icon Controller allows you to set the advance from 1200 up, via the signal to the coil. This is the only controller that can advance timing outside of the PCM's capabilities up to 20 degrees + and 20 negative at 500 rpm points along the vehicles set curve. Dodge initial timing curves have been weak, and we dump allot of advance on the bottom and slightly pull off the top end of the curve for more MPH. The setup comes with the software (simple 386 PC needed) and cable to flash to the truck.

I orginally purchased it to have a 8 degree advance in timing for the initial hit off the line then back the timing down at 2500 rpm when the nitrous kicked in. Also to play with the ignition curve without messing with the crank position sensor. But i wont need it on my next motor build so im starting to sell the parts off it i wont need.
Ill sell the unit for $300, comes with everything needed for install and cable for computer and software. Install takes about 10 minutes and is 4 wires. So its simple and the program to run it is very very simple. I can send you some curves also.
I can also throw in the laptop with the software already installed and all the curves. The laptop is a older model, i had purchased just to run this program. It does have windows and so forth. The battery might need to be replaced, it will only hold a charge for a short time, sometimes 2 hours. Only takes a minute to program the unit though. If you want the laptop also, total will be $375.

the icon sounds excellent. did you do any track runs with it before and after installing it? what were the times? i am very interested in it. send me an email with every bit of information you have on it, including graphs and such, as well as anecdotal or seat of your pants feel. i am interested in the whole set up. how long did it take to get it set up how you wanted it? thanks
