Carlos - put down the crack pipe and learn to type without the caps lock on.

How does the vortex continue past the throttle plate?? Anyone? Anyone??

It doesn't.

How does one vortex split into 8 ports and continue being a vortex? Anyone? Anyone??

It doesn't.

For those that have bought one, you're in luck. I am pretty sure you can make your toilet flush more efficiently with it. Just wedge it in the hole at the bottom of the bowl...he he.

did anyone think that maybe the reason these people believe that these tornados work, is because all its doing is causing alot of restriction of air flow. thus bogging down the performance abit enough to believe that its helping theyre fuel economy. its just a thought.

I put one in my truck and it got sucked into the number 3 cylunder. Left it there...I figured the truck would get better gas milage running on 5 cylinders instead of 6. Filled up my gas tank back in January....drive 400 miles each week...still got enough gas in my truck to make it another 500 miles. Thanks Tornado Fuel Saver, you're a fuel saver.

I still get a kick out of their infomercial, especially when they install it on that Impala and it magically gains 20 rear wheel hp on the dyno. And just had a great idea I am going to start selling converted revlon blowdryers as electric turbochargers. You know like Tornado is selling those kitchen sink drain covers as fuel savers.

Gee, And I remember a cheaper type HP/gas mileage claim back in the early 80's regarding the use of a pair of cow magnets to stick on the fuel line to improve mileage, drivability, etc.! Unlike the Tornado, I think that worked by magnetic forces creating a charge in the gasoline just before being pulled into the carb and then finally into the cylinder. Either that or the magnets were so strongly attracted to the vehicles ahead that you were pulled down the highway by them relieving the strain on the then typically underpowered stock engines of that time by almost all manufacturers!!! Hehehe!!!

yeah i actually bought one for my svt focus.

4 am.

similar test with and without on the first try.

result.....

without 30.3 mpg with 34mpg

conditions. 10% road 90% freeway.....average engine rev 2500rpm. both tests were exact and no traffic restrictions. gas station was within .25 miles when i refueled.

so you guys be the judge.

and why i came here? because i was wondering if it has good claims after i bought it....give it a try i say. 12% increase fuel economy is not bad.

They seem to work on some vehicles, not others. If there is a 'beerkeg' or equivilant intake, there is no way for the turbulance to do any good. On carburated engines or TBI set-ups the philosophy works. The benefit decreases the farther away the unit is located from where the fuel goes into the cylinder. [Or so seems the 'butt dyno' of air/fuel suspension logic]! I didn't try one on the stock Beer keg for the above reasons. I may try one on the M1, as the air passage is near direct from the throttle body to the intake valves. Have to see if there is a money-back guarantee.

I would recommend if you buy it off the shelf! I would not mail get order the thing. That way, if you are not satisfyed, then you can get rid of it right away. I purchased mines in the montebello town center in los angeles. They have a "as seen on TV" store in there. I'll tell you guys...

the throtle body has a butterfly like plate that does destroy the hurricane effect at idle....that is why they say...put it on and drive it....

When I first installed it I thaught it was an edited aluminum can, But boy was I wrong after seeing my fuel economy change I knew that an Aluminum can would of done better!,
So what I did is I shoved an aluminum can where I placed my tornado and not only have I improved gas mileage It was very easy to install.
Thanks DR PEPPER!
