Would you people stick a crowbar in your wallet and spend $20 and buy some kind of shop manual for your trucks instead of posting on here looking for torque specs for every last nut and bolt on your vehicle? And also for asking how to disassemble every damn part too? Don't you feel lame for doing this? Get off your a s s and buy a book and read it and learn something about your truck for a change. It's one thing to post when you are having problems and you've attempted a solution but some of you f'ers I swear never leave your couch. You need us to wipe your a s s too when you get off the toilet?

I suggest you come off of your horse and at least have the balls to use your real name if you're going to post a flame post on these boards.

You suspect they never get off of their couch, yet YOU'RE the one who is tired of reading too many posts. Read less forum posts and spend more time away from YOUR couch and STHU.

At least their posts are requesting some useful knowledge. Your post was a flat out waste of time. But please, by all means, waste even more of our time by replying to this.

Thanks..

Most people that ask little questions should just buy the book. Its helpful and better referencing than the computer screen. Second if he didnt read so many forum posts......who would be here to answer all those stupid little questions for how you remove the front passenger floormat????...and put four 12" subs in a Reg Cab?

At least he posted here instead of after someones question..

There is a lot of year specific info in the manuals, they're good to have. I don't particularly like the Haynes, though lots of guys do, because it doesn't seem to be specific enough sometimes. But the cost of the Factory one is a bit much ($90CAN).
So I don't have a problem with guys posting to ask seemingly simple and redundant Q's. That's what this forum is about, isn't it?

I fully agree with the idea to buy a manual, it's excessively helpful. My problem with his post is the overly aggressive, self righteous way that he delivers it. There are A LOT of people on this board that are more than willing to help someone out with a simple question, if he's not one of them, then don't reply, but to say "You need us to wipe your a s s too when you get off the toilet?" is just being a dick.

Personally, I search these boards for a lot of answers. The real benefit of asking on here about a question that is likely answered in a manual is you get real world experience in the answer. Such as, "make sure to watch out for X when you're doing that because it is very close to Y", etc..

To each his own, but to come onto a forum and complain about people asking questions is about as bass ackwards as it gets IMHO..

This is a repost just for Justi who feels particularly insecure and
threatened by this post. Strike a little to close to home perhaps?

This is merely a post. I'm not threatening anyone here. If you
can't handle the truth written here, so be it. Grow up and learn.
I certainly ask for help if I need it. I do not claim to be perfect or
know everything. But I get off my dead a s s and try to learn
something first instead of acting like a helpless woman when it
comes to my truck.

So here it comes again. Oh and posting under a real name has
nothing to do with anything you dumbs h i t.

Would you people stick a crowbar in your wallet and spend $20
and buy some kind of shop manual for your trucks instead of
posting on here looking for torque specs for every last nut and
bolt on your vehicle? And also for asking how to disassemble
every damn part too? Don't you feel lame for doing this? Get off

your truck for a change. It's one thing to post when you are

OK.....I looked in Haynes and I still can't figure out how to fit 4 12" subs in my regular cab. Can someone please post a schematic - or should I just spend the $100 for the factory manual? Maybe I should have bought the Chiltons instead. I just don't know what to do........OH YEAH.....Righty loosey, Lefty tighty...........Who needs that damn manual anyway??????

Using your real name has everything to do with taking responsibility for your actions. Since you have not, everthing you (ugh) have posted means NOTHING! For all we know, you could be a convict in San Quintin surfing the net in the prison library with absolutely no interest in our beloved Dakotas. On the flip side, I do thoroughly enjoy flamers like yourself. Each time I read them, I imagine (based on your/their words) that the type of person the rest of the world thinks all Americans are like. This way, I can post a response indicating that only about 1% of all Americans are like this a$$hole. The rest of us don't want to start sh!t with everyone just cause we're bored.

Sincerely,

Mr. Roboto

Geeez....this guy must have been fired from his job today or something. Either that or he has some serious controll issues. What is wrong with helping someone out? Sharing your knowledge? Being part of something where everyone looks out for the other guy. Your parents must be real proud of the selfish clump of sh*t they raised. I guess you never had a question that seemed mind-boggling to you, but had a very simple solution in the end. Can you recognize yourself yet? In your post, you used the word "us" to rag on people with questions. Don't ever do that again. You don't have what it takes to lick the crud off the bottom of the shoes of the people on this board that offer help and suggestions. You ain't "us". You stand alone.
