The priests, bishops, and cardinals may have been molesting children, but they weren't using profanity while doing it. See, the Catholic church still has standards..he he.

I'm a Marine, so I know how to swear with the best of them. I have said things that make pig dung smell like potpourri. I think the point is how a person chooses to present themselves. If you wish to debate intelligently and bring forth a professional demeanor, then you would refrain from using profanity. If you want to appeal to the less refined group in society, then you can swear all you want. It only reflects on your character. There is a time and place for it (i.e. when your wrench slips off the bolt you're torquing on and you smash your knuckles on the engine block).

Last point.... Since this is a privately owned board open to the public, the owner gets to make the rules. Are there not rules of conduct in restaurants, theaters, or driving a car/truck? Is it your freedom of expression to do donuts in someones flower garden with your Dak? If Mark chooses to restict profanity, then that's his prerogative. I guess those that don't like it can not let the door hit themselves in the gluteus maximus on the way out.. ;-)

I second that Motion. I believe that people that use excessive profanity to emphasize a point are suffering from Cranial-Rectal insertion problems and need a Glass Belly-Button to see where they are going. And all of us are Richard Craniums every now and then, but we can refrain from profanity at all times.

An intelligent, articulate, and mature person never needs to resort to profanity in order to make their point. I believe that a person who has little else to offer but vulgarity is at heart a very shallow and uninteresting individual. I have personally witnessed events in which several upset, cursing people were laid low and speechless by well placed, quick and intelligent statements that contained no profanity whatsoever.

The only forbidden word should be T*yo*a. Let's never use the "T-word" again.

I far as general profanity goes, "Give it to em' loud and dirty that way they won't forget it"

Ok, I'm thinking I'm a moderate in this group while I think it's perfectly acceptable to use any type of language you want while in your home or amongst your friends this is a private site as was previously mentioned and if one would just like to look around and see how many of the people on here swear just to get a rise out of some one that would filter quite a bit. Just keep it civil and if you have to vent just send them an e-mail. If they have the testicular fortitude to post it.

U just hate em because they run forever (most of em)
They are what they are.....And I don't much care for Dodge except for the Dak that fits me just right. If I take care of my Dak maybe it'll last as long as a Yota.
Dodge got a winner with the Dak.
My point is, that I'm a little oversensitve to all this HATE thing----It is unproductive.....
I'll shut up now.
Liked this post though....

Yota's run longer because typically the ones you see out now the late 80s and early 90s boxes. Some guy bought it just before he retired. They never work them and they have nothing better to do than to take care of them. There was this little old lady in town. When she had her oil changed she would have them take out on the interstate because that was the only time it would break 35 mph. If you treated a dak like that it would last forever too. Different buyers, different lifespans.

Ban IP Addresses?
IP: Logged

I have an uncle that's retired..... he has an '84 Toyota pickup that has 19,000 miles on it. He was complaining because he had to put tires on it and they only lasted 18,000 miles! I had to point out to him that they've been on the truck for 18 years! I drove the thing before he got the new tires.... at 40 mph you couldn't see with any of the mirrors because the tires were so flat spotted. They were still bias ply tires! hehehe

Also - speaking of Censorship....
Is it possible to ban some IP addresses on this site? I've got a couple of "candidates" that need to post elsewhere.
