 Subject: Wheel and tire question.

I have a 99 Dakota 2wd and I'm looking to get some bigger wheels with bigger tires not low profiles. I'm looking at getting 18" wheels. Will a 265/60R18 fit in my fenders or should i go a size down with the wheels and get the same 265/60R17 tires?

What I would do, is go with 255/55-18's. I believe that the 265/60's will be significantly taller than your factory tires, and make your speedo show a lower speed than your Dak is actually going.
