Subject: quad cab exhaust help?

Hi guyys,

I have an 02 Quad can that I am looking to do a cat back exhaust on. Does anyone make a cat back, dual look exhaust? I am just really looking for a cat back that splits off after the muffler and comes out the back to give me that dual exhaust look. My truck has the trailer tow package, so this may pose a problem, I do not know. I was on the Gibson site yesteday and it seems they make a split exhaust that seems to be what I am looking for. Has anyone tried this and how does it sound look? Are the tips nice? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I have the Gibson split duals on my 03 CC, and I love them. They come with polished tips, and they sound real nice. Rumble at idle, but no resonant drone on the highway. They holler nice at full throttle, too.

Did you have to remove the spare tire? How much did the kit cost? Where did you buy it from? I looked in both Jeg's and Summit and did not see a kit listed?

Yes, had to remove spare tire. I have the tow package and hitch also. Fortunately, I have a bed cover and bed mat, so I just tossed the spare in back.

Got my Gibson from my dealer, and they installed it. $550 installed(full stainless).

Try dynomax.com also they have kits and a Chrysler pdf you can download to see the kits piece by piece. You can order those parts from Jeg's.

I had a MagnaFlow 2.5" single in-dual out (p/n 12458, I think) put on at a local shop. Also had stainless tips put on. The shop re-used the stock tailpipe, and added an aluminized one. Both exit at stock location, side by side. Whole deal cost me about $150.
