Coming up on 100,000 miles, I went to what I think is the best Dodge dealer around, Bedford Chrysler in Bedford, PA. I asked them to inspect the upper and lower balljoints. Upper and lower on drivers side were out of spec, only lower on the passenger side. They replaced all three, no hassles (and the uppers no longer require replacing the entire upper control arm). They also replaced passenger outer tie rod and the front sway bar bushings(4 of them) All covered under warranty, so it cost me $100. That will be refunded to me if the ball joints get recalled. I have the 7yr/100000 powertrain warranty that came with the truck and also 5yr/100000 mile extended warranty(bumper to bumper) thru DC. And yes, they still have no zerk fittings. You also might ask, why didn't I have the last upper ball joint replaced anyway, well they showed me on the truck it had very little wear, not like the other side.

Just wanted to spread some good cheer about a great dealer since so many of them do stupid things.

Funny thing is, I don't live in PA, but 2-1/2 hours away in MD. It's worth the time to go somewhere that's treats you good and does what they say. I originally bought the truck there and they have been awesome ever since.
