hi fellas, just got a 01 2wd quad cab 4.7 and i really like it alot,except for the tansmission.it doesnt want to shift into second.at first i thought it was temp related,but it happened today again and it was 60 degrees.i dont have any problem once it heats up.has anyone experienced this.any info would be appreciated.

i have a 97 est. cab 2wd 127,000 miles and second has been hard to get into for a while. It does not grid or make noises it just is hard to get into. the shop said it was fine.

But whenever I want second gear, it's right behind first.
Yea, a smart ass manual owner.
I think I've read something about some kind of sensor that's at fault. Good luck.
