I have a 1995 Dakota Sport, 3.9L.
I've driven it hard and it's at 110,000 now. The engine mounts need to be replaced (or the tranny mounts), going to do that today.
I was wondering if it was possibe to throw in a 4.7L without too much hassle. I've heard that you need a new tranny and you need to update the computer. How much hassle would it be to have the AT pulled out and manual put in when the engine swap is done?
Also, does anyone know of a good place to get a rebuilt 4.7L?
