I just replaced mine last week, they are a timken Set 49. I bought mine at Auto Zone $ 29 ea. If you call the parts stores looking for the bearings they will not have a listing, only a replacement hub assm. my price on those at Car Quest was $ 93 ea. You will need a press or take it to a shop and they can press them for you, it will still be way cheeper than new hubs.

easy fix,
What did you do about the Nylocking-Lock-Nut that retains the hub/bearing assembly? It has big letters embossed on it that says, "DO NOT REUSE".
Did you reuse it? I've always had to get that nut at the dealer and they charge $20.00 for the damn thing. Is there anywhere else that you can get that nut?

I'm sure you can find a replacement without the nylon and just
locktite the replacement in place to ensure it doesn't come off.

I replaced both of my fronts, the bearing P/N's are:

Timken, JRM4249A or SET49
BCA, 513058
CR (Chicago Rawhide) FW115

I got the BCA's for about $30 each at Carquest. Tried to look online, but couldn't find them, or the places that listed them didn't stock them.

I applied several drops of locktite to the old Ny-lock nut and stud and torqued it to 180 ftlb. Figured the only reason they put the nylon lock on the nut was to keep it in position and keep crap out of the threads and bearing, the Locktite should do the job.

About two years ago I bought new ones from the dealer thinking I could repack the wheel bearings, when I got home and read the service manual I found out different. I do not recall what I paid but it was most likely too much. Back at the time I did some searching but had no luck. After I removed mine I took them apart, I could not believe the lack of grease in them.

I've noticed that anytime I go over 100mph for any length of time the bearings overheat and the grease boils/runs out of them. I've got grease clumps inside both front wheels. As long as I keep it under 75mph the inside of the front wheels stay clean. Take it over 100mph or sustain 85mph for 200 miles or more and the grease starts slinging out of the front hubs. I average 20K on a set of front bearings/hubs.
