What's anybody know about the new Multi Displacement System for the Hemi that turns off cylinders during non load use? Sounds good. Anybody know anything?

Don't know about this system, but I would hope it is better than the Cadillac 8-6-4 system from some years ago.

I THINK IT'S SOMETHING TO DO WITH TELESCOPING LIFTERS THAT KEEP THE VALVES FROM OPENING AND CLOSING.

The lifters of four cylinders are deactivated under light throttle conditions. There is no combustion, and no air being pumped through the cylinders. There is no 6-cylinder situation, strictly 4/8 cylinders firing as needed.
