Been reading some of the posts on the clutch fan removal...Most seem to be about the 4.7l....Anyone with a stock 5.9 remove theirs..?..And what if any gains have you noticed...?...Do you think it would be necessary to add a pusher BM fan and a 180 t stat...?

i took mine of of my r/t, it frees up some power and lets the engine rev faster...i dont have a 180 tstat yet and have had no overheatting problems, however its not the summer yet...im sure ill need at least that and maybe an aftermarket electric fan seeing as how i live in NC...good luck.
