What would you change after all the visual and performance mods you've made.

Hopefully the answer is nothing, since we all learned what works from all these posts, right?

Well, I have two mods I have 2nd thoughts about:

1) Exhaust tips on my cat-back, I'd lose the 3 inch chrome oval tips and go with 3 1/2 inch angle cut. (probably get a better rumble)

2) Jet Chip II on my 4.7. Seems to have lost that inital bit of umph...not as 'scary' as it used to be when stomping it and the kick down coming on real strong and throwing you back in the seat...only got 1600 miles, I'm pretty sure the cable didn't pick up any slack...I have been playing with the angle of my 9 inch Pro-Flow filter to get more air after removing the rubber flap with out any being blocked by the tranny module heat seat...perhaps the chip doesn't like me switching back and forth from 89 to 93 octane...I just filled up with 93, will run it till empty and see if I get the intial boost back.

Perhaps I'm used to that boost now, or perhaps the PCM's learning mode negated the chip...I just pulled the black harness out of the chip and did the old PCM reset trick and reconnected it...will see.

Anyhow, any mods you had 2nd thoughts about, whether they didn't work as advertised or will limit you on further upgrades?

I love every mod I've done so far except the JET Stage II chip. Some how moisture got inside it and ruined the whole thing and now it's a nice paper weight. I also did notice a slight drop in performance after a while of having it in.

I would have gotten chrome instead of powder coated step bars and light bars
