Anyone looked at the 2004 Ram? I love my 2002
Dak but would still rather have a full size truck.
Saturday I pulled into the lot and looked all over
the place for a extanded cab with the 5.7 Hemi.
Salesman said, not made any more. Just 4 door
and standard cab. I told him I didn't want a crew
cab and standard is also out of the question.

So it looks like if I want a full size truck
with extended cab, it's gonna be Ford or Chevy.

I wonder when Chrysler will stop making Dakota's
with extended cabs? Four door (crew cab) on a
Dakota is not to my liking at all. And the 5.6"
bed is a joke!

I'm glad I have my cc with the larger bed.
Bringing yard waste would take 2 trips with the smaller bed. What a pain !

That's a shame, didn't know they did that. A friend just got a new diesel Ram, there's more room behind the seat in a standard cab now but I think they did it by pushing the cab forward, more contoured floor pan on passenger side now, seemed less comfortable to me but he's happy to have the extra room.

Look at the new Nissan Titan. Smooth power and great ride. THE only thing I didn't like (ok 2 things) when i test drove it was...... the seats felt thin (arm rests!) and the center console was a little wierd - hard to explain..... flat and didn't like the radio display or controls.
BUT..... easy to park, TON more room than Dodge, Chevy or Ford. We had 4 adults and an 8 month old in his little chair. not cramped at all.

I think they make it in the model you want.

(don't bash me because I drove a Titan..... AND would prob buy one!!!)

:-)
