Jack up both sides so tires are off the ground put in nutural and rotate wheels if both turn the same way you have limited slip if one goes opposite or doesnt move you dont

Thanks Hotplymouth, I'll try that tomorrow. I had been having a clunking type sound when I was on an incline and made a sharp turn. I heard that it could be my diff. if i had limited slip.

Rather than spend 20 minutes jacking up your truck. Have some fun and dump the clutch (Manuel) or power brake it(auto). If both back tires leave marks, you got LSD.

da label in your glove box will tell you that and more bout your truck. but some knuckle draggers will run all around the block to see who lives next door. da

Should be to metal tags held on by the differential cover bolts.
One tells you the gear ratio, and the other if it is LSD.

label of the options your pos truck has
