Message: I need to replace the inner tie rods for my 2000 2wd Dak, rockauto.com has the parts, inner tie rods $41, outer tie rods $32. Just need to know if there are any gotcha's when replacing the inner tie rods. I read a post saying a special tool was needed to remove and replace the inner tie rods, but it didn't say what the tool was for or how it operated.
Anyone replaced the inner tie rods? Just need to know if I need special tools to get the job completed.
