Subject: squealing noise in front?

I've been getting this squealing noise at speeds between 3 and 18mph.
It's coming from the front of the car not the motor or belts etc. but lower..
Obviously I'm not a mechanic so I took it to a friend who is. He thought it was possiby a dry seal so sprayed a number of areas with PB Blaster and it actually helped for a couple of weeks but it keeps coming back.
Anyone else ever have this or have any ideas.. I'm not overconfident in my buddies abilities other than drinking beer...

My experience with this is the front drive shaft cv's. The noise almost sounds like a chirping bird. As it warms up it may go away. I had a custom front drive shaft built with greaseable points.

If you jack up one side of the truck and spin the wheels to get the noise you may be able to verify where it is coming from.

Hey Chris thanks for the input. You're right it's just like a chirping bird sound. I actually couldn't think of that and told my buddy It sounds like spring peepers (little frogs that sing in the spring) my buddy just gave me this blank stare... I think I will take it in and tell him to check this out.. I hate pulling up next to people sounding like a damn robin.. Tom..
