Okay, I am looking for a 1987 Dakota SB thats either yello, black, or blue. I do not care if its RC or extended cab. It needs to have atleast a 3.9 in it, automatic trans, and a halfway decent body.

If you know where one is or are selling one I will probably buy. If someone atleast finds one that I like I will pay them via paypal.

Pretty much I am looking for one to restore and to put a 273 in.

I will keep you posted once I find one. Its gonna be a pretty neat lil project. I am gonna powder coat the frame and the whole nine yards.

That 273 is a real nice package to slip into your
87. Hope you don't have too many problems getting
everything to bolt up.

Good luck!

NO

89s have a capped off nipple on the tank next to the out line you can hook the fuel line out to for this use,

so you see there is no need to remove the electric pump, just move the feed line over to this nipple,[about 2" apart]on the sending unit

this is used to drain the tank of fuel so the tank can be removed to change the pump[so this capped nipple can be reached with-out removing tank]

any one have an ideas how to make the old sending units work with the new motor?

e.g. oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, and etc.

I was thinking that I could just hook them up to the new motor and they would send a singnal.

thats rite
