I used to go there, too, but it wasn't that great, so I stopped. I guess it's possible that the site has changed since then... NAH! Just like always - you're trying to get new members because you have so few and there's no useful information. It might be more believable if you didn't sound like an infomercial, and if you didn't send your members over here just to post things like this for you.
If you really do like that site, on the other hand, great for you. But you still sound fake (and you guys always seem to choose the EXACT same wording on these posts).

I signed up at dakotausa too and there is alot of information over there. Dont get me wrong, i still find stuff over here that i couldnt find over there. Larry on the v6 boards is unbelievably full of info. One main reason that I like it over there is the lack of little faggets bitchin about how bad the dakota is and how great their foreign junk is.

Just for clarification - is that 2,000 ACTIVE members, or 2,000 people that joined at one time, but most of which left for the same reasons I did? Note that you have to join just to VIEW the boards, so you're counting all the people that visited once and never came back.

I may have alot of time on my hands, but not that much. If we want to go into all that, then count up how many posts are bashing dakotas, how many people change their name every time they post, how many unrelated to anything posts there are.
I'm definitely not knockin Mark's site, i'm just tryin to say that there is, just like here, a wealth of knowledge to be found over there.

I'm on over at DakotaUSA.com, and I love it, it's great, no spammers talking crap and starting shxt.
I come over here now and then when I'm done reading the info over there, and waiting for others to post. That website gets at LEAST 10 new registered users a day. It's a great site, very informative, I recommend it.

What is he right about? I dont think he's proven that we're trying to get members for the reasons that he's talking about. Personally, I don't see why he feels that we need to try so hard to get members.

Joined dakotausa to check it out and was disappointed the 5-6 times I went there. Not enough people to make a good forum. Maybe in a year or two it might be OK, but for now it's DODGEDAKOTAS.COM
Nice not to have all the trash talk, but I would rather have a useful forum with some BS thrown in.

You don't see Mark and DodgeDakotas.com lowering themselves to such tactics ... and Mark has the #1 Dakota site on the internet.
Even CBS television calls his for his opinion (based upon what he has read on the forum) regarding the ball joint problem.
Another reason to be suspicious.
deaver started a NEW THREAD to say what he did ... not as an addition to an existing thread.

I have witnessed his wife posting a blubbery recommendation here about Dakotausa, right after they were discussing on Dakotausa how to attract more members. Of course, when she posted here, she didn't mention that she was his wife, or use her full name, or say that they were trying to reach a record number of members by stealing them from this board (I read THAT thread on their board at the same time she posted here). She said that she was just a person that had no affiliation with it, just visited that site and liked it, and that was all. She repeated that lie a few times. I'd tell you to read the thread, but it was deleted soon after.
I really don't care who goes to that other board, or if they like it or not. I don't care if people stop going here and stay there. I'm not trying to convince anyone not to go there. It really makes no difference to me. If you like Dakotausa, that's great. I just think it's rude to come over here and pretend to be someone you're not, for the sole purpose of attracting more members to a different site. It's underhanded and deceitful. I have no problem with Chris posting a link to his website in his signature, though. As long as the post itself isn't telling us to go to his site.

Did you notice how jealous they got, though, when CBS did the story on the ball joints and mentioned THIS site instead of Dakotausa?
