I recently upgraded to a Ram 2500 but I need to figure out what the difference in height is between the dakota's and ram's trailer hitch. So my question is how high is the bottom of the inside of the reciver hitch on a dakota with a three inch body lift and 33inch tires.

thanks

I work with a guy that has a 2500, I will be at his office later this week. I will back up to his truck and take a quick measurement for ya. My tires are 32" so it will be close to what you are asking for. You could always take a trip to a dealer and back up to one of the stock DAK's too.

I will post again later this week when I get the digits.

Looks like about 8 inches of difference from my dak to his ram.
He has about a 6" drop hitch.
Enjoy the 3/4 ton! Did you get the diesle?

This guy I work with (3/4 diesel) is running 1/4 in the 13's. Those things are fast! Good luck and have fun!
