Message: Just had upper ball joints replaced on my 01' Dakota 2WD. Thanks to those of you who replyed to my posts about 2001 ball joint's being unavailable. I took your advice and ordered 97-99 ball joints from partsamerica.com and had a local garage install them. No problem!
I used McQuay Norris FA2132 ball joints at 49.99 ea. $121.84 total with 3-day shipping. $180 for shop labor and $75 for the alignment. Everything is tight & right now.
