 Subject: loud whistling noise

Hi:
I have a 2003 SXT 4X2.
I'm driving along and a loud high pitched whistling noise comes from the front end of the truck. I let off the gas pedal and the noise stops.
It seems when I depress the gas pedal a certain amount it can happen, but not often.
I can't seem to reproduce it for the dealership, so that can't fix it.
Anyone else have this problem?

something in the transmission...
mine does it to. im not very mechanically inclined, but if i throw it into neutral while doing it, the noise goes bye bye. dealership said it was a leaky windshield, so they caulked the sh*t out of it..
i only get my noise between 60->75
