Message: HI i jus bought american racing baja rims for my 95 dak v8 5.2l 4wd. they are 15 by 8 wheels and i was reading the book that came with the rims and they said no tire bigger than 30 inches on this rim now i have 31 on my dak now and they are 15 inch rims so whats the deal? can i put 31 inch tires on these rims or not?
Message: otto, 31's should be fine, I'm sure you can go even bigger if you wanted/could. My thought, those specs are probably there just to protect them against liability if you were to have a problem with larger tires. I had some baha rims on my old toyota and it had 31's, never had any problems. Anyone else got any thoughts?
