I am in the process of buying a 1998 dakota sport club-cab, magnum V8, 4x4. Interested in knowing any information(good/bad). How do you like it? Had any problems?

I own the same model. Watch out for engine ping. Put the engine under a load, like drive it up a hill or with the ac on if its warm enough to use it, and step on the gas hard and see if you get lots of engine ping. If it does than it probably has a blown plenum pan gasket at the bottom of the intake manifold. This is a very common problem on the 318 & 360 motors. You can also remove the airhat and look down the throttle body with a flashlight and see if it has a coating of oil at the bottom of the intake. You may not see much though that is why it is better to drive it.
