How does the factory set the "correct" tension on the torsion bars?? I have a 00 QC and she is listing towards the starboard side a good 2". I have looked at the adjustment bolts and noticed that they are not equally cranked, which is apparently normal according to all that i have read. I am going to crank them somewhat to hopefully cure my lean but also raise the nose slighlty to make the truck more level. Thanks for any help.....

not tha same as JD......... what ever... but i have a 1990 dak 4x and i cranked my torsions up to lift 2" i didnt notice any real change in steering or handling.... and the way that the torsion bars are set is they are cranked up or down till the correct ride hight measured from the ground to the top of the wheel opening. i have also lowered a 96 chev blazer 4x also with no major alighnment problems.... but as always keep an eye on how your tires wear as a indication of alighnment....

not to the top of the wheel openings fool but to certain hardpoints on the frame. Get a truck body repair book and read it and you will see just how wrong you are,
