What are your opinions. Right now I have a 4.7 QC 4x4 with a flowmaster 50 on it. I am deciding between the K&N or the Airaid. Also what is the Z-tube I see people posting about? Is that the same thing/different company, and if so what is the price? Thanks for any input.

K&N's FIPK for the 4.7 won't be out till late summer (if they're on time)
z-tube seems to get the most positive reviews and I'll add one more...just installed one Tuesday with their new 9 inch Pro-Flow filter, noticable performance gains and great sound!

I had a Airaid, sold it and got a Ztube. Big difference. Go with the Ztube.

Intense Performance's new Pro-Flow filter outflows their Big-Mouth filter by 25%.
Just the sound is almost worth the cost! Bet yes, there is also a noticable 'boost' in performance gains.

Yes, just the black Pro-Flow is available and there are no 7 inch Pro-Flows if one was interested.

I have the 4.7 and understand that you can't get the cold air Ztube yet. With that considered is it still worth it to get the Ztube w/o cold air?

I noticed that intenseperformance has come out with a z-tube with cold air. I was wondering if anyone tried it and what they think about it!

Tell me more about the sound??? Does it compare as in the old days of v8s, Turning over the air filter cover?? Camon you old guys would remember this little trick to get that racing sound we all love??
