Does anyone know if roof-mounted light bars are illegal in Michigan? Was thinking about getting a 02 Jeep Liberty Renegade which comes with a factory installed light bar. After reading three reviews for it, all have stated that the light bar is illegal in some states. I can't find any laws dealing with it in Michigan over the web and was hoping someone here would know.
Just wanted to say, Dakotas rock in the snow! My first winter with my Dakota and it's the best truck I've had so far when it comes to the snow.

I think that virginia or WV have that law. do a search on one of the 4 wheel magazine web sites they should have that listed somewhere

I see them all the time here in VA Just go to the dealer and ask them if it is illegal the dealer would knwo caus ethey should not be aloud to sell them then.
