I just bought a 2001 Dakota Quad cab 4X4 with the 4.7 V8. It did not come with a owners manuel. What is the Letter N with a small little button on the 4 wheel drive switch for? Is there any other secret things I should know about this truck? Thanks

The little N button is to put your your transfer case into
neutral in the event you want to tow your truck (ie behind a
motorhome). Towing the truck with the transfer case
engaged could lead to very bad things.

I Like coconuts, they smell like ladies lying in the sun

bad idea

The N stands for never move, you use it to park on very steep hills.

Not trying to be a smart a$$. If you need an owners manual check with techauthority.com. $10 plus shipping. They also provide the service manuals for Chrysler vehicles. The are the factory manuals.

The N stands for "Nothing." Dodge just put that on their trucks to confuse people who lost their manuals.
