I went out this morning to fix my exhaust (Split rear exit, one Muffler tip was hanging lower than the other) and there is white paint speckled ALL OVER the tailgate/bumper/exhaust tips. There is no paint ANYWHERE else on the truck, so I don't know how the hell it happened, but any ways; I was hoping you guys could tell me the best way to go about removing it. There are thousands of specks about the size of this o. I can gently scrach them off with my finger nail, but that would take me FOREVER. Looks like paint spray blew all over the back, but I have no idea how it happened. Weird

This happened to my wifes new van I use my Zaino clay bar to remove it. Tedious work but it will also bring the real paint shine and color back, good time to do the whole thing and rewax it.

Hey thanks guys, I'll have to go get that clay bar tomorrow and tackle it. I've never waxed the truck, what wax do you recommend? I have a Red 99 and the paint seems to be in pretty good condition.

LOVE your truck, I've been to your site numerous times, you have done a real nice job with your Dak. Makes me jealous ;) I'm saving up for a suspension lift, and your front bumper is AWESOME! Thanks for the reply!!

Zaino is the only wax to use in my opinion. Sorry I missed your reply.

Go here: http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc

I order online. Been using it for a couple years now. Does a great job hiding the off road rashes,Scratches, but does not damage like a rubbing compound will. Read up on how touse and tips and tricks for the ultimate high gloss shine, wet look.

If you don't care enough to wax it - why would you care about extra splatter on the bumper?

I use Nu Finish Car Polish. Its not actually a wax, but it makes my '94 shine like new. It also is great against water. Rain water just beads up and rolls off.
