Maybe 02 dakotas have similar door panels to 99s. 99 dakota door panels have 5 screws:

1 philips head at the top front, by the side mirror
2 philips head along the bottom
1 torx under the door handle
1 torx well I forget exactly where this one is, but I know it's there! Hopefully it's one of the ones you already found.

Then lift up about an inch or two, then pull it off just enough to reach behind it and release the door handle gizmo and wiring connections.

Be careful with the wiring connections to the power windows/locks! I wasn't careful enough when I replaced my crappo infinity speakers, and I ended up having to work on the power window switches themselves. (I tried rocking that particular wiring connection back and forth trying to loosen it. All I needed to do was pull it straight out.) I'd say keep a small flat head screwdriver nearby to help pop the catches on those wiring harnesses when you take off the door panel.
